What should I expect during Sakura Essential?
Sakura Essential is a 45-minute Japanese-inspired head spa ritual including hair wash, head and scalp massage, hair and scalp treatment, automated full-body massage and hair drying.
How long is the treatment?
Sakura Essential lasts 45 minutes.
Should I arrive with clean hair?
No. Hair washing is included as part of the Sakura Essential ritual.
Does Sakura Essential include a facial?
No. Sakura Essential does not include a facial treatment. For a head spa experience that includes facial care, choose Zen Glow or Kintsugi Renewal.
Is the body massage manual or automated?
The body massage included with Sakura Essential is automated. Your therapist focuses on the hair, head and scalp care during the treatment.
Is hair drying included?
Yes. Hair drying is included, but hair styling is not included.
What if I have a sensitive scalp or chemically treated hair?
Please let your therapist know before the treatment. Your scalp and hair condition can be considered when selecting the most appropriate products and approach.
Is Sakura Essential suitable for a first head spa experience?
Yes. Sakura Essential is our shorter 45-minute ritual and is a good introduction to the Onsen head spa experience.
